We started meditating every morning before school. I found that it quieted the pools of my mind, which on some days were already boiling over by the time I arrived. Also, I learned that I can choose to be happy. And it led to another idea: that no one can make you unhappy, nor can you blame your unhappiness on other people, because it’s you who decides to be happy or not.
