Meditation for Teenagers

Ongoing classes and drop-in meditations

Living Wisdom High School hosts ongoing meditation classes for all teenagers (from any school).  Also regular drop-in meditations are hosted for teens who have taken the class series.

Classes are taught by the High School staff and other volunteers. All the instructors are long-term meditators and teachers who have worked with young people for many years. Nonsectarian methods have been adapted for teenagers. They include, but go beyond mindfulness, using breathwork, inner focus, conscious relaxation and other techniques.

Student comments

My sister and I went to both of the September sessions, and both had a blast! It was what I looked forward to at the end of the week. Meditation for Teens is something that I feel is very important and a great idea! My sister and I would both love if we could come back. Thank you so much for what you are all doing.
SV & AV High School Freshmen & Junior

I come to the club to help get back into the practice of meditating. High School is so busy, don’t always get a chance to practice it.
